According to SpencerStuart’s survey of 177 nominating/governance committee members, the top trends and priorities are:
- Recruiting profiles: 62% women, 49% active CEO/COO, 48% technology experience
- 66% considered or are considering directors 50 years or younger
- Technology, digital, and social media experience are the most in demand skills for younger directors
- Top issues to address over the next 3 years: board evaluations, board diversity, board leadership…
